Each year, millions of people visit National Mall and Memorial Parks to recreate, to commemorate presidential legacies, to honor our nation's veterans, to make their voices heard, and to celebrate our nation's commitment to freedom and equality.
19 Aug 1995Karen and her mother got to take in a few of the sites in Washington D.C. Taking in all the sites of the National Mall is a daunting task. there are 16 major subunits and sub subunits plus at least 150 additional reservations, circles, fountains and park spaces throughout the downtown Washington, D.C. area. They took in 7 of the units in two days.
